From Chipping Campden to Dover’s Hill :
2 hours gentle stroll (4.75miles/7.6km’s):

Starting from the centre of Chipping Campden, walk west down the high street past the Noel Arms Hotel. At the church, turn right and carry on up Hoo Lane towards the farm. Go through the stile onto the Cotswold Way and turn left.
Follow the contained path leading to the top of Dover’s Hill (home of the Cotswolds ‘Olympicks’). Continue over the escarpment where you will see fantastic views to the west, a perfect spot for a picnic. Continue down the grassy slope until you find the second stile which takes you onto the road.

Cross over the road and stile opposite. Walk along the bottom of the fields and through the kissing gate. Go through the fields until you pass a cottage on the right. From here head towards the bottom left of the field.

Cross over both bridges and stiles; follow the hedgerow until you pass another stile and bridge in the corner, follow the climbing woodland path until you enter a field higher up, the way develops as a track, ultimately ending at a country lane.

Taking care on the main road, follow it until you turn around a left hand bend, look for a way marked gap on the right cutting the field corner to exit at Dyer’s Lane.

Keep going downhill, shortly passing a cottage on the right, then after 100 yards beyond, turn left into a short field access track. Over a stile on the right, walk forward towards the buildings of Chipping Campden and eventually emerging onto a street at the far side of the field. Cross to a footpath between the houses opposite which take you back onto West End Terrace. Turn right towards the town centre.

Chipping Campden offers a selection of refreshments stops such as The Eight Bells pub on Church Street, or the Bantam or Badger Hall tea rooms, which can be found on the main high street.
