Starting from the Mill at Lower Laughter follow the Mill Stream across the park land to Upper Slaughter, following the marked trail called the Warden’s Way. Pass to the left of the picturesque ford and simple stone bridge at Canbray’s Farm and continue on to discover Cress Cottage – a secluded retreat perched above the woodland. Follow the path back to Upper Slaughter to explore the Church, village school and the Lords of the Manor Hotel, a magnificent Cotswold stone Manor House. Follow the Warden’s Way back to Lower Slaughter, using the Spire of Lower Slaughter directly ahead to guide you.
